2024 Gold Standard Driver Nominations Open!
Western Dairy Transport is pleased to announce that the nomination period will open on June 1st for the 2024 WDT Gold Standard Driver Awards. This year, we will honor exceptional drivers in the OTR/Regional Driver, Haul-Off/Shuttle Driver, and Loader categories.
Following the tremendous success of last year’s program, where several Gold Standard Drivers were identified and celebrated, we are excited to continue this tradition. Our three Driver of the Year Finalists were selected from this outstanding group of drivers, highlighting the excellence within our ranks.
At WDT, we are dedicated to recognizing excellence within the transportation industry. The 2024 Gold Standard Driver Awards are not just a celebration but a testament to our commitment to excellence. They aim to celebrate drivers who consistently showcase outstanding skills, professionalism, and dedication in their roles.
These awards highlight the unsung heroes who ensure the safe and efficient movement of dairy products across the country. These drivers exemplify the core values of community, integrity, safety, and service, setting a high standard for the entire industry.
Open to all drivers across our various sectors, nominees will be evaluated based on their safety scores, performance reviews, a management survey, and the contents of their nomination forms. An esteemed panel of industry experts and leaders will carefully review each nomination to select the most deserving candidates.

Winners in each category will receive various prizes and exclusive recognition. Additionally, nominees who meet the minimum requirements will receive a well-deserved acknowledgment within the WDT community and will represent the Gold Standard in truck operations at WDT.
