This February, we’re excited to recognize Blake Cox as Western Dairy Transport’s Employee of the Month! Blake’s journey with WDT started in September 2022 through the Driver Intern Program, where he excelled in all four phases. After graduating, he completed driver orientation and became a loader in Lovington, later transitioning to the Portales area. Every day, Blake shows up with a contagious smile and a go-get-it attitude, always delivering excellent service to our customers.
A Lifelong Connection
For Blake, WDT isn’t just a workplace—it’s home. “I’ve been around WDT all my life,” he shares. “My dad worked here when I was six, so I always knew where I wanted to work.” Today, it’s the great managers and amazing people that keep him here.
A Standout Accomplishment
Blake takes pride in his hard work, and one of his biggest accomplishments was loading seven full loads in Lovington in a single night! His dedication and efficiency showcase his commitment to getting the job done right.

Blake’s motivation comes from the love and support of his beautiful wife, Samantha, and his amazing son, Mason. They inspire him to stay focused and give his best every day.
