ESGR Statement of Support Ceremony

On January 15th, the Western Dairy Transport Board of Directors, comprised of David Shelton, CEO; Drew Honeycutt, COO; Jim Peck, CFO; and David Finch (U.S. Navy Veteran), CIO, signed the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) official Statement of Support.

At the ceremony, the company's leaders publicly reaffirmed their commitment and support to National Guard and Reserve members and their Families. The program, led by the U.S. Defense Department, promotes cooperation and understanding between civilian employers and their National Guard and Reserve employees. Retired U.S. Army CSM James Breckenridge from Fort Leonard Wood, who serves as a volunteer for the Missouri branch of the ESGR, conducted a meaningful ceremony filled with patriotism and pride that highlighted our support of the Guard and Reserve Service Members.

The program strengthens civilian-military bonds and has helped increase employer understanding of the benefits of hiring service members, which has members transitioning to civilian life and working among us. We are honored to recognize active National Guard & Reserve members like our WDT colleague Caleb Campbell. Caleb currently supports the Information Technology department in Cabool with his unique skill set and experience but outside of WDT he plays a very important role as a member of the National Guard. Without people like Caleb, America and WDT would not be what we are. So, a huge thank you to all those who have and do serve!
