The Wall that Heals, Bryan, TX

Western Dairy Transport was honored again this year to participate in transporting The Wall that Heals. The Wall that Heals is a 3/4 sized replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington DC that travels throughout the country to selected communities. The mission of The Wall that is heals is to allow American citizens, unable to travel to Washington, the ability to view and honor the names on The Wall representing the names of more than 58,000 American Servicemen and Women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of American combat troops withdrawal from Vietnam. This year also marks the fourth consecutive year that WDT was honorably selected to serve the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Foundation in relocating the wall to both College Station and Kyle, Texas. We would like to recognize the efforts of three WDT senior drivers, all veterans of our Armed Forces who helped transport the Wall that Heals: Tony Turcic, Rob Roberts and Matt Burkhart.

Remembering that freedom isn't free and saluting all our fallen, active and retired servicemen and women. We thank them all for their sacrifices.
